Wearing a back pack on a ski lift is always dangerous as it can get stuck and leave the person hanging for dear life. In some cases it can also strangle the person and that is what happened in a Lenawee Mountain Lift in Colorado.

The man was hanging by his neck and unconscious. Some of the guys tried to form a human pyramid to help him, but the snow was too powdery and the group fell.

That was when Mickey Wilson, a professional slackliner and ski instructor who was on the lift behind the victim stepped in. He climbed the lift tower and onto the cable and finally reached the man. He was thrown a knife from the ground which he caught in the very first try and cut off the back pack. An amazing rescue. Watch and share.
