When 63-year-old John Slater saw a badly hurt deer by the side of the road, he did not have the heart to leave it there.

He put the deer in his car and brought it home. He also read up on all resources about caring for deers and nurtured the animal back to health.

He named her Strawberry and now she lives with him. She has a shed of her own to sleep in and uses the doggy door to get in and out of the house. Adorable. Watch and share.
